A driven and enthusiastic professional with extensive experience gained within roles that demanded the highest levels of management in health and social care. Quick to grasp new ideas and concepts, and to develop creative solutions to problems. Technically proficient, with a wide range of computer skills that can be utilised within different work environments. Excellent ability to work effectively alone and within a team, demonstrating motivation and organisation required to fulfil a range of duties within high-pressure situations. 


Health and social care executive with the ability to balance strategic decisions and financial discipline with a hands-on approach to leadership-resulting in strong employee and service users satisfaction. Engaging communicator and relationship builder with expertise in organisational planning, 12M million capital projects, contract negotiations, team development, and increasing for growth. When it comes to people, I am a strong believer in leadership and empowering people to take ownership of their positions and processes. I believe effective communication is key to leadership, and I strive to create a positive and motivating environment that nurtures future leaders and high performers.
 

" I kind of almost fell into the care industry. I started my work in a social care charity at in 1999. It opened my eye when I started to learn the deprive community and the disable people out there who are in isolation with very little support. And I just thought this wasn’t right, people were receiving care that I thought wasn’t culturally appropriate.

And I thought I can fill in that gap in making the difference and establish a well-known home care service. I took this opportunity in 2003 and started my journey and became one of the largest charity with home care project in London.

As a human being, whatever background or faith we are from, we all agree it is not ethical to treat people wrongly because of their disability. And there is no other job that is most rewarding then ours because we care.


And it’s that concept that I saw from the day one. Treat people how you would like to be treated. We have care staff and staff in the offices who are so caring and compassionate.


And that’s fantastic!

People in this caring industry, our care staff go extra mile in everyday of their work.


It is the most fabulous thing.

As these people are so caring and committed.

And they wanted to get things right.

They do not want service user or their client to be let down.

I ask people every day of work, are you happy, are you happy and to me if you have happy workforce and you’re all pulling in the same direction. Then work is a pleasure!


You know coming to work is a pleasure.

Obviously, we had difficult years perhaps thing not such good

But we have invested heavily in our infrastructure

And the biggest investment we have made is in our team and staff.

We run a care business, not a chain of supermarket or retail unit.

We are actually in the care industry, caring for the neediest people in the society

Right from the top to the bottom carers are caring and compassionate.

And actually, they would like to make a difference.

To me that’s what I look for.


My passion fuels my goal which is to provide the best possible health and wellbeing support to people supported by Shifa Health & Social Care, so that each person can enjoy a happy, healthy, and meaningful life. That is our organisational Vision, and I really believe in it. I want the Health & Wellbeing Team to be an inspirational and visionary team (the best in the UK) that will support us to deliver excellent, person centred support to everyone, through skilled, confident, resilient, and happy support teams.

 

Lastly, I am committed to the highest standards of professionalism in the industry, and I aim to ensure that those standards and values are passed through every aspect of operations.
